The Mylin Family
,I am excited to begin teaching at St. Thomas More. I wanted to become a teacher every since second grade. I received a bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University and began teaching third grade. Shortly after, I received my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. I married my college sweetheart, Scott. This summer we celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary. After having two daughters, Stephanie and Lauren, I decided to stay home to raise our family. Shortly after this, we had our third child, Michael. Scott's job moved us from a suburb of Chicago, Illinois to Overland Park, Kansas, where we live today. As you get to know me and my family, you will discover, a piece of my heart will always remain in Illinois, with all of our extended family. After Michael was in 6th grade, I decided it was time to get back into the classroom. I began this adventure by becoming a paraprofessional in a special needs classroom. This then turned into a 6th grade English Language Arts and Science teaching opportunity at Oxford Middle School in Overland Park. I am excited now to be able to share my love of God and faith with my students. This year I will be teaching ELA and Religion!
Stephanie Stephanie has started her second year working as a physical therapist at Park Meadows. She recently became engaged and is planning to marry Brandon in May.

Michael
Michael is now a senior at K-State this year where he is studying industrial engineering.
He has joined the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He loves being able to work with the K-State baseball team analyzing the pitching of players through instruments and then making suggestions to improve the spin and velocity of the pitch. Michael also stays active playing basketball, soccer, and of course video gaming.
